MESOGI FESTIVAL

At the local new Primary School

PROGRAMME

  • Welcome address by George Christou, President of the Community Board.
  • Speech by the Hom. Minister of Health Mr. Christos Patsalides
  • Music & Dance programme:
    • Music by the “TELIA” group
    • Dances by the “KYPROS” group(Aristos Jamalis)
    • Music by the “N.M.H. Hadjiomorfos” group

During the Festival there will be a basket exhibition and basket making

Entrance fee with food & drink €10 for adults
€5 for children under 14 years old.

DOG PERMIT

I would like to inform you that according to the law for dogs No: 184(1)
no-one is allowed to possess a dog that is over 3 months old unless they have acquired the appropriate permit thought the  relevant authority in this case is the Communal Board of Mesogi.

In order to obtain the required permit the owner must provide the following:

  • Certificate of good health from a recognized vet.
  • Certificate of permanent identification of the dog, which is issued the local government veterinary offices.
  • Payment of the sum of €20.50 which is to be made at the Communal Board of Mesogi.

Owners are liable for prosecution if:

  • They do not have appropriate permit.
  • Abandon their dog and fail to take necessary prosecution for its safeguard.
  • Allow their dog to:
  • Cause disturbance thought constant barging
  • Litter the roads
  • Roam the streets

The above are punishable with either 12 months imprisonment or €1708.60 fine or both.


FINAL WARNING

 TO ALLTHE INHABITANTS OF MESOGIS COMMUNITY

It has come to the knowledge of the Communal Council, that the majority of our Community is wasting too much water unnecessarily.

Two of the conditions for the supply of water in our building are:

  • Water will be used strictly for domestic purposes.
  • There would be every possible economy, otherwise the Council has the right to impose a fine or even discontinue the water supply.

Use of water is prohibited if:

  • Washing cars using garden hoses.
  • Watering yards and the road that runs alongside any premises.
  • Watering vegetable gardens.
  • Broken clock meters and missing taps. These should be replaced-

IMMEDIATELY.

If none of the above takes place, we will be forced to take legal action against you either by Fine or Discontinue the water supply your premises.
